Kepemimpinan Visioner dalam Transformasi Universitas Islam Negeri Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi

The purpose of this study is to explain the role of visionary leadership in the ongoing transformation at UIN STS Jambi. UIN STS Jambi offers two transformative leadership programs for its visionary students. There have been three changes at UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi: (1), (2), and (3). This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, which entails characterizing the existing conditions as they are currently. Regarding the information collection methods, examples include interviews, observations, and written notes. In this study, the researchers conducted in-depth interviews with the Governor, Deputy Governor, Head of Bureau, and community leaders in the Jambi Province. Based on the findings of this study, it is expected that UIN STS Jambi, as an Islamic educational institution, can benefit from visionary leadership of the rector and accelerate its transformation to achieve progress and university goals, enabling it to compete at the national and international level. Additional training is also suggested. UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi seems to be entering a period of remarkable growth, and some university programs are running satisfactorily.
